i can type with confidence my absolute favorite part of a wedding day is getting dressed. it’s the moment where everything shifts. no matter who is in the room (mothers, sisters, besties, bridesmaids, parents, your partner), it’s the four walls, the muffled sound of the outside world where time seems to simultaneously slow down and speed up.

there is a palpable buzz in the room.

this is the shift of: OMG. THIS IS REAL. THIS IS HAPPENING.

the room goes quiet with tears, gasps, warm hugs. i live for these simple and tender moments that transition us fully into wedding day mode.
