i believe in
capturing the essence,
the emotion,
and the feeling.
Weddings are their own living, breathing thing. They are real-life unfolding.
I believe there are two versions of your wedding day: the one you want to experience in real life and the one you want photographed. I believe in taking images that bring you back to that very moment.
To me, photography is magic; it is the preservation of our memories that builds our legacy for generations to come.

I always say (only half-jokingly) that I take my work too seriously. Wedding photographs are one of life’s greatest treasures, for today and for the generations to come. I scout your venue the day or two before your wedding, even if I’ve been there countless times. I want to see and feel the entire day through your heart and what speaks to you. I’m always thinking about your day like it’s a collaboration. I’m dreaming about your story right along with you, from our first conversation to your final gallery.
My style is heavy on cinematic moments that feel playful yet warm. I blend classic portraiture with an editorial edge, balancing authenticity with timeless sophistication. My background in photography school was portraiture and advertising. I strive to make people and things look their best.

With gentle guidance and empathy, I’ll demonstrate poses if needed, breathe with you, pass the tissues, calm nerves, or do whatever it takes to help you feel grounded and like yourself. My biggest goal is for you to look at your photos and say, “That’s us.” Not, “that’s what our photographer told us to do.”

I approach each wedding with a fresh slate. This is your story to tell—mine to capture. Depending on the moment, you’ll find me shifting between quiet observer (fly on the wall) and gentle director (getting everyone cuddled up for a family photo). I love a well-crafted timeline and smooth logistics, but I’m also here for the unplanned, the spontaneous, and the beautifully real.
-
Always! About two months out, I’ll send you a Q&A homework assignment to get us started, and then we’ll meet again one month before to walk through everything—details, logistics, and which parts of the day or people need special attention. We’ll explore how things feel for you and how to balance photo coverage with being fully present in the moment.
-
For a wedding of around 100 guests, 8 hours of coverage usually feels just right, from getting ready through the dance floor. That said, every celebration is different. Things like travel time between locations, large family photo groupings, or wanting to join in on cocktail hour may mean you’ll want more time. I’m always happy to talk it through and advocate for what is best for you and your vision.

Technology is constantly evolving. Your digital collection comprises selected digital images and has undergone exposure processing and color correction. (They look their technical best.) These images are in high resolution, meaning they are large files for storing, but you are welcome to self-print these images using the print lab of your choice. I educate my couples about the world of digital photographs. Digital files will corrupt and degrade over time. The best way to preserve your images is to have them professionally printed on high-quality archival materials, which I offer as part of my signature product collection.
-
Photoshop and retouching services are included in the signature products of flush-mount albums and fine art prints. All files are reprocessed and perfected by retouching and prepping them for printing. All product orders receive complimentary high-resolution retouched digital files, which you can self-print. Clients can also request retouching services for a single image at $50 (USD) per file.

I usually send a sneak peek of favorites within 7–10 days (often sooner!). Final galleries typically include 100 images per hour of coverage, so for an 8-hour day, you can expect around 800–1,100 photos, depending on the flow of the day.

Yes, I am insured. I am registered as a professional photographer through multiple organizations, including Professional Photographers of America and Vermont Professional Photographers. I am registered as an INC in Vermont and have gear and liability insurance. I am happy to provide this to your venue upon request (72-hour notice). I use professional-grade cameras, equipment, and lighting. I service them at least twice yearly and shoot and store duplicate backups. I am happy to discuss my methods and systems in detail further.

I love meeting all of my couples to say hello and catch me up to speed with their stories, wedding day visions, and expectations. This is as easy as grabbing a coffee or setting up a video chat! I do not charge for this time. You are not obligated to me after our initial meet and greet! Officially speaking, I need a signed copy of my agreement and a deposit of 50% of your collection cost as a retainer fee. The deposit amount will be applied to the total collection cost.
Once your agreement is signed and the retainer is received, I’ll send a welcome pack with a detailed wedding guide complete with helpful info and the next steps. Are you dreaming of an engagement session? Are you considering coverage for your welcome party or flush-mount albums? I’m here to brainstorm with you. I’ll check in at key points at the start of the calendar year, two months out, and again at one month to ensure we’re aligned. I’m always just an email away.

I always have an assistant with me on wedding days. They are an extra set of hands and eyes. Assistants help organize your family members for portraits, keeping me on time, running to my car for a step ladder, dress hanging, reflector holding, lens carrying, etc. They are vital to my day and performance, so my sole focus is photographing YOU! There is no additional cost for you, as they work for me. I typically do not book second photographers. Every photographer is different in how they photograph and approach weddings. With my video production background, I am confident in capturing wedding days solo, from start to finish. Logistically, guest size is critical in determining if a second photographer is necessary. I can only be in one place at a time, so certain situations may require a second photographer. Adding a second photographer gives you more images of your special day. Please know that I find only fellow wedding professionals with high standards whose photographic style and personality are similar to mine.
I am totally happy working with videographers! Please let me know as part of your "wedding homework" assignment. This way, I can introduce myself and prepare our nerdy camera shots, angles, and lenses to coordinate movements and shots without interfering with one another.

Absolutely. I’ll go wherever your story takes you. Travel fees begin at $550 for weddings in New England. Please reach out for a custom estimate based on your location and needs.
